About tanger.info

tanger.info is a travel guide to Tangier in Morocco, written in English. Tangier is a port city in the north of the country, on the Strait of Gibraltar. It lies on a bay between Cape Spartel and Cap Malabata, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. The guide covers this city, distinct from Tangier Island and the town of Tangier in Virginia and from the Tanger Outlets.

The guide starts from the city itself. It asks how to spend your days in Tangier, in the medina, at the museums of the kasbah, at the Caves of Hercules on Cape Spartel or on the beaches, and which part of the city suits a night, as set out under where to stay. Chefchaouen, Tétouan and Asilah follow under day trips, and the ways in by sea, air and rail under ferries, airport and getting there.

Trip planning and bookings

tanger.info covers the city, its coast and the ways to reach it, while fares, timetables and conditions are set by the ferry companies, ONCF and the museums and sites themselves.

For a question about a ticket, contact the company or museum that sold it.
